Applesauce
Serving Size: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 4-5 apples
- 1 cup of water
- ¼ cup of lemon juice
- ¼ cup of sugar
- ¼ tsp of cinnamon
Step by Step
- Peel and core the apples. Dice them up into cubes.
- In a pot, add in the diced apples, water, lemon juice, and sugar, and mix.
- On medium high heat, cook the apple mixture until apples are softened. Stir occasionally.
- Using a blender, blend the apples until there are no more large pieces. It should be fairly quick.
- Add in the cinnamon and stir until it is spread throughout.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Salsa
Serving Size: 4 cups
Ingredients:
- 2 beef tomatoes or 2 cups of grape tomatoes
- ½ of a red onion
- 1 bunch of cilantro (about ¾ cup)
- 1½ tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of lime juice (about ½ a lime)
Step by Step:
- Dice up the tomato, red onion, and cilantro.
- Add in the salt, garlic powder, and lime juice.
- Cover and shake until throughly mixed.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before eating.
